The Trust exists to enhance the value of volunteering experience, both for the volunteer and the recipents of volunteer effort. We form partnerships, provide guidance and seek funding in order to stimulate positive change through effective use of volunteer effort. Much of our work is directed through through Ambios Ltd, a not-for-profit science-based company dedicated to connecting science and society, and helping all people who work with nature

igoMANGO works with Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs ..... MANGO is short for Monitoring Assistance for NGOs). The focus is on Environmental Conservation - and because we need conservation to counter inappropriate human activity, our involvement includes much community and educational work.

We help NGOs by working with them at grass-roots levels, encouraging them to enhance their effectiveness in achieving their targets. At all the sites where igoMANGO volunteering opportunity is available, a triangular relationship exists between the 1) volunteer, 2) the local NGO and community, and 3) scientific input from Ambios. 

How does the project relate to you?  To answer that question we would need to know who you are and what you are seeking through volunteering. Are you scientific or artistic, socially skilled or shy?  ... looking to give, or to find yourself?  .... one of millions or unique? Being happy with your life  depends on recognition of just how you fit into and contribute to the amazing spectrum of humanity.  You may already have gathered enough awareness  to allow you to be comfortable with yourself and to develop your potential ....  or maybe not!  Seeing life at its best and worst, understanding other people's needs, accepting responsibility, using your skills positively, trusting your peers - all key ingredients for taking your life forward in the best possible way, but ingredients not necessarily readily available on everyone’s shelves at home.  Will volunteering help you?
